The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
BÜRO XO GmbH i. G., represented by its Managing Directors Noah Singer and Jani Albermann, Metzstraße 33, 81667 Munich, Germany, email: jani@buero-xo.de
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and version and the operating system used. This data is technically required to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data sources.
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, company, email address, content of the message) exclusively to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). For the technical delivery of the form we use the email service Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin; parent company: Brevo SAS, 106 Boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). The form data is transferred to Brevo servers within the European Union and delivered to us from there as an email. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Brevo pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation of a contractual relationship) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in handling enquiries efficiently and securely. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Without your consent, this website only uses technically necessary storage (e.g. storing your cookie selection in the browser). Statistics cookies and similar technologies are only set once you have expressly consented via the cookie banner (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). You can change your selection or withdraw it with effect for the future at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
To understand which pages are viewed and how visitors find us, we run our own simple reach measurement on our hosting provider's web space (see section 2). It sets no cookies, stores or reads no information on your device and passes no data to third parties. It records the page viewed, the website you came from (domain name only), campaign identifiers in the link (e.g. utm_source), language, device type (desktop, tablet or mobile), the time, and clicks on buttons such as "Book kickoff" as well as downloads.
Your IP address is not stored. To avoid counting a visitor twice on the same day, we create a shortened check value (hash) from the IP address, the browser identifier and a random value that is newly generated every day. The random value is deleted after one day; after that, the check value can no longer be linked to any person or device. We keep the measurement data for no longer than 400 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a data-minimising evaluation and improvement of our offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), e.g. by email to jani@buero-xo.de; you can technically prevent the measurement by disabling JavaScript or using a content blocker.
If you have consented to the "Statistics" category, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse your use of the website (including pages viewed, time spent, approximate location, device used, referrer). Your IP address is shortened in the process.
The analytics service is only loaded after you have given your consent; no data is transferred to Google before that. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings in the footer; we then deactivate the service and delete the analytics cookies that were set.
A transfer of data to Google servers in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR serve as an additional safeguard. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Campaign identifiers: if you reach our website via a link with a campaign identifier (e.g. utm_source=linkedin), we add this identifier to links to our booking tool Calendly. This shows us which campaign led to a booking. The identifier contains no information about you as a person. Only if you have consented to statistics or marketing do we keep it in your browser until the end of your visit (session storage).
This website contains links to external platforms and services, e.g. LinkedIn and Calendly for booking appointments (Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA). When you click on them, you leave our website and the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. Only data you enter on Calendly's booking page (e.g. name, email address, preferred time) is processed by Calendly; Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Simply visiting our website does not transfer any personal data to these providers.
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
This privacy policy is dated October 2026 and will be updated as required. This English version is a courtesy translation; in case of doubt, the German version applies.
